What is your role?
Senior Broker, dealing with a wide variety of commercial clients.
How long have you been with the firm?
I joined the firm in June 2023.
What was your background before that?
I started my insurance career as an office junior for a local broker. After a couple of years I moved on to work for an Insurance Company as an underwriter for 10 years before moving back to broking. I have had various roles dealing with business insurance over the years, including dealing with large and complex insurance programmes. I’ve also been involved in training and mentoring colleagues.
What are your special skills?
Customer service, attention to detail, organisation and I think I’m quite approachable and easy to talk to.
What do you get up to outside of work?
All things motorsport, especially MotoGP and I don’t miss a race! I’ve even been to Silverstone and watched Valentino Rossi. I also love walking my Border Collie Jock and socialising with family and friends.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Wet Wet Wet and chocolate. The highlight of my life was meeting Marti Pellow in Global Video when I was 15!
