I am a Senior Account Executive dealing with Commercial Clients across a diverse variety of sectors
How long have you been with the firm?
I joined Blue Rock in July 2023.
What was your background before that?
I have worked in the Insurance industry for over 34 years, starting at Guardian Insurance straight from school, working my way up the ranks eventually becoming a Senior Underwriter before moving into the Broking world just over 20 years ago.
I have spent the last 20 years working with clients from different industry sectors looking after their insurance programmes, from large complex risks to the more straightforward programmes.
What are your special skills?
I am a people person building relationships with both clients and insurers alike. I pride myself in always putting my client’s insurance needs first before anything else and I am genuinely interested in my clients and their business.
I also like to think that I am organised and methodical especially when reviewing both existing and new client’s insurance programmes making sure they are fit for purpose.
What do you get up to outside of work?
After insurance, my next passion is my family, I love spending time with my Husband Scott and my 2 dogs, Freya and Fern. I am also a keen gardener, not a particularly good gardener, but definitely a keen one.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Trashy chick flicks and chick lits, they help me relax after a busy day.
