Diane Finlayson.

What do you do in your role?
I help all our clients with their claims as well as various internal roles dealing with insurer accounts and helping the management team with administration duties.

How long have you been with the firm?
Since 2003

What was your background before that?
I started my insurance journey with the CIS in 1979, moving on in 1987 to try the broking environment. I visited the Direct Line claims department on the way before coming to rest and thrive with Blue Rock.

What are your special skills?
Discipline and doggedness.

What do you get up to outside of work?
I used to compete in Lawn Bowling but am restricted to spectating these days. I also can only reminisce about my previous achievements as a Time Trial specialist in the Ayr Roads Cycling Club, my pinnacle being achieving the Scottish Ladies Championship over 10, 25 and 50 miles.
